Dolores Chili will be serving hot bowls of all-beef chili to families at the Ronald McDonald House in Long Beach on
Thanksgiving Day from 2 - 3 p.m.
Alongside other food vendors and the traditional turkey dinner options, Dolores Chili will pass out bowls of chili during the Long Beach RMD Houses' "Give Thanks Day" event, which includes games and prizes amongst other family fun.
Families of children undergoing medical treatment staying at any of the nation-wide RMD Charity locations will gather on Thanksgiving Day to share a special meal. The organization relies on donations from local companies, like that from Dolores Chili, to help make a whole and comforting Thanksgiving meal at each of its locations.
The Long Beach and Los Angeles area RMD Houses have specifically provided families with a safe and supportive place to stay for over 30 years, while their child undergoes treatment for critical illness or injuries at local hospitals. Furthermore, each RMD House aides family members of children who cannot afford to pay the nightly fee.
