Soon to be available in Smart&Final, Restaurant Depot and various Club Stores, the Concession Box includes two five-pound bags of Dolores Chili ready to be thawed, heated and served. The serving size is specifically designed for concession stands such as those found at high school snack bars, booster club functions, or any youth sporting event — football, soccer, baseball, softball, martial arts, swim meets and more. Dolores Chili can be served as a stand-alone dish, or combined to enhance burgers, hot dogs, nachos and French fries. It is also common for concessioners to sell Dolores Chili Fritos, commonly known as "Pepper Bellies." "For years, fundraising groups have chosen Dolores' famous "Chili Brick" for use in High School, Little League & Soccer Snack Bars.  Now our new "Concession Box", provides these same groups a quick, convenient way to serve a great tasting Snack Bar Favorite, Dolores Chili", says David Munoz, President of Dolores Chili.  Boxes will be sold starting at starting at $37.99, or less than 50 cents a serving. Each box includes heat-and-serve instructions. To keep each delicious serving of chili piping hot, Dolores’ special Chili Warmer is available for purchase, rental or loan for the duration of a group function. The Dolores Chili Warmer features two sides to keep ingredients separate — for example, one side can be filled with chili and the other with nacho cheese. Dolores Chili is a third generation minority owned business located in East Los Angeles, CA.  The family firm was originally founded in 1954 by patriarch Basilio Muñoz, with matriarch Dolores as the face of the company. With a nod to its shape, the aptly named Dolores Chili Brick has been enjoyed by chili lovers since its introduction in 1973.
